Creature Greedy (excerpts)

Creature Greedy is huge

Like a bottomless pit.

He consumes everything

Taking all he can get.

.

It's quite hard to tell

Which parts may be bigger --

His hands or his mouth.

Both filled with such vigor.

.

His hands moving and grabbing

Monster mouth always open,

Pockets stuffed, overflowing

When not eating, he's mopin'.

.

Just two hands and one mouth --

One still has to wonder

Where he puts everything,

All the loot from his plunder.

.

His monumental mouth

Does not make him mean

With his humongous hands

He's a feeding machine.
